Internet Article Marketing Strategies Guaranteed To Capture Target Market Attention

Posted on | May 20, 2010 | No Comments

The content in your article resource box plays a pivotal role when it comes to internet article marketing strategies. This is where you can briefly and tactfully prompt your readers to visit your website or blog. The body of your article should never appear to be promoting a product otherwise most publishers will overlook your articles.

An important internet article marketing strategy is to call on your readers to take action after they have read your article. This is where the resource box content comes into play. You can direct your target audience to follow your links for more information about the article they have just read. Therefore, make sure that you add your business links in your resource box and test to see if they are working properly.

Having said that, ensure that you have more relevant and informative content on your blog or website. It can be quiet frustrating for your visitors to read an article on best chocolate in the market and when they follow your link find content about sports. This is a wrong internet marketing strategy which only results in a high bounce rate.

Of all internet article marketing strategies, your topic is what determines whether people will read our article or not. This then means you must take time to come up with catchy headlines that will draw people’s attention thus end up reading your article. Since you are not allowed to promote products in the body of your article, the heading is where you get the chance to tell people what your website content is all about.

For example, if your website is about online money making, here are some topics that will catch a reader’s attention:

1. 10 Online Money Making Secrets That Are Sure To Work

2. Legitimate Online Money Making System Guaranteed to Produce Positive Results

I can go on and on but ultimately make sure that you use topics that ignite your readers curiosity thus succeed in article internet marketing strategies.

Most article submitting sites do not allow self promotion articles and this is the main challenge facing online product based marketers. A product based site is any website seeking to generate online sales leads that result to purchasing of products. Having said that, internet article marketing strategy is the best mode of driving targeted traffic hence more likely to generate sales.

The fundamental aspect of internet article marketing strategy is posting issue based content. Your articles should be seeking to educate your readers. Rather than telling people to buy your products (of which article submitting sites do not permit), compose articles that will add value to your target audience. With this kind of approach, publisher will also be very willing to pick your article thus helping you generate more traffic to your site.

It does not matter how many self promotional articles you submit, your content is more likely to be ignored by publishers. Internet article marketing experts state clearly that your articles need to be informative. Find out what are the pressing needs in your market niche, then research and offer solutions to this needs. Informative articles will easily prompt readers to follow the links in your resource box. Furthermore, as earlier mentioned the traffic you generate will be targeted.

3 Reasons Why You Need to Use RSS…..Now

Posted on | April 12, 2010 | No Comments

Despite the popularity of RSS technology, only about 20% of internet users actually use it. In fact, many internet users don’t even know what it is or how to use it. But there are three reasons why we should expect that to change very soon. Just as many devoted “snail mail” users eventually came around to the idea of using email, many email users will probably become avid RSS users.

Three Reasons Why RSS is The Way to Go!

1. RSS Allows the Use of Embedded Audio and Video:

Let’s say that you’re an internet marketer who wants to send an email to established clients. You envision this email containing a YouTube-like preview that the client can click on to see your expertly-crafted video. But guess what? You can’t do that with email. The best you can hope for is to include a preview image that opens up a web browser to play the video when the client clicks on it.

You may wonder why that’s so bad, but just think of how much easier it would be to view the video right there in the email without being bounced around. And then remember that RSS easily and conveniently allows for embedded video and audio.

2. RSS Guarantees 100% Deliverability

If you’re an internet marketer, listen up. Even if you legitimately obtain the email address of a potential client or an established client, there is only a 60% chance that they will receive an email that you send to them. That means that if you have a list of 100 emails that you’ve worked hard to obtain, 40 of those customers won’t ever get the email. What a waste!

But RSS is different. If someone has subscribed to your RSS feed, you are guaranteed that they will receive every single message.

And the advantages aren’t limited to internet marketers! Customers also win with RSS. No more whitelisting senders, and no more signing up for email lists only to find a spam box filled with old email. Once users realize how convenient and efficient RSS really is, RSS will grow by leaps and bounds.

3. RSS Means NO SPAM!

Industry analysts and internet marketers are acutely aware of the possibility that email may not be free forever, particularly for large corporations that send out significant numbers of emails. Why? The answer is spam. It’s time-consuming to delete, it often contains inappropriate messages, and large corporations are often burned by it. Before you dismiss the idea that email may no longer be free, know that some email providers are already researching ways to make email like cell phones that impose a sending quota.

And won’t RSS be popular then for marketers and consumer alike!

If you are one of the 80% who uses RSS feed regularly, you may be stuck for awhile checking both email and your feed reader because a few key things need to happen before RSS completely eclipses email. First, users need to be able to send messages to select RSS subscribers instead of everyone who subscribes to the RSS feed. Second, users will need to have the ability to share some identifying information with the publisher so that the publisher can send content that matches the needs of the user and can utilize RSS similarly to email.

So What Will This Look Like?

Quite honestly, it will probably look a lot like email, except that instead of publishing your message to a blog, you’ll actually publish it to a private spot on the internet and to your client’s RSS reader. When your client checks his feed reader, he’ll see that you’ve posted a message to him and reads the message online or in the private space where you’ve published the message.

Sounds easy, right? Although RSS technology has a way to go before this is a reality, it never hurts to prepare for the possibility. If it all sounds overwhelming, consider the possibility of consulting with an SEO expert to talk about how your company can prepare for the widespread use of RSS as an alternative to email.

Better ways to improve your article writing

Posted on | March 26, 2010 | No Comments

Writing an article doesn’t just mean putting down thoughts into words then typing and writing it. You have to capture the interest of your readers and get them to keep on reading. To send your message across you have to get the attention of the reader and have a firm grasp of their interest and pique their curiosity.

The main ingredient in baking up an article is a large dose of creativity. While creativity may come natural to many people, some just gets into a block or something to that effect that can drive someone crazy. Many writers have literally torn their hair out when they get writers block and just can’t seem to get their creative juices flowing.

Putting words into images in the readers mind is an art. A clear and crisp depiction requires a certain flair that only creativity can provide. Similes and metaphors help a lot, but the way an article gets entwined word for word, sentence by sentence then paragraph by paragraph into a whole article develops the essence of the article.

So just what do you have to do when nothing comes to mind? There is no surefire ways to get the perfect ideas but there are easy ways to get your creative juices flowing. No one can guarantee you of having the perfect mindset but many methods may aid you in achieving that state of mind. Here are five easy ways for that.

  • Keep a diary or a journal with you always. Ideas can be triggered by anything you may hear, see, or smell. Your senses are your radar in finding great ideas. Write all of them into a journal and keep it with you for future reference. You may also write down anything that you have read or heard, someone’s ideas could be used to develop your own ideas and this is not stealing. Remember that ideas and creativity can come from anywhere; it’s the development of the idea that makes it unique.
  • Relax and take time to sort things out. A jumbled mind cannot create any space for new ideas. Everyone must have a clear mind if one wishes to have their creativity in full speed. Get rid of all obstacles that can be a hindrance to your creativity. If you are bothered by something, you cannot force your mind to stay focused.

Try to relax every time that you can and think about your experiences and interactions with others. Your experiences are what shape your mindset and your opinions which could be reflected on your writings. Try to discover yourself, find out what triggers your emotions. Discover what inspires you and what ticks you off. You can use these emotions to help you in expressing yourself and your ideas, with this you can grow creatively.

  • Create a working place that can inspire your creativeness. Your working place can be quite a hindrance if it doesn’t make you feel happy or relaxed. Creativity comes from being in a good state of mind and a messed up workplace that causes distraction won’t be conducive in firing up your creative flow.

Surround your working place with objects that makes you happy and relaxed. You may put up pictures, or scents, objects that inspire, or anything that can get your creativeness cranking. A clean and well organized workplace also rids of distractions and unwanted hindrances. With a good working place, you can work in peace and never notice the time pass by.

  • Set the mood. Setting the mood requires you to just go with the moment or to induce your self to feeling what makes your mind works best. Finding out what makes you tick could help you find ways to get your creative juices flowing. Set the pace and tempo for your mood and everything else will follow.

There are many ways to set the mood. Some writers have been known to use alcohol, a little sip of wine to stir up the imagination. Some would like some mood music while others let the lighting of the environment create the mood.

  • Go on a getaway and just do something unlike crazy. Letting yourself go and have fun produces adrenaline that can make your imagination go wild. Take an adventure or a solemn hike. Whatever it is that is unusual from your daily routine can take the rut out of your schedule. In no time at all, your creativeness will make use of that experience and get your imagination to go on overdrive.

Article Marketing Success Is Easier Than You Think

Posted on | March 22, 2010 | No Comments

Article marketing is one of the most effective marketing strategies you can use to market online. At the time this is being written, article content accounts for over 40% of search engine results. This form of marketing can and will create massive traffic back to your website, but you must know what you are doing. This article will show you the way. I will begin under the assumption that you have already identified your target market and have performed keyword research to determine what your market is searching for.

Almost every article directory you submit your articles to will require you to include a title, summary, body, keyword section and resource/ signature box. I will explain what is required for each and how you can best optimize your articles.

Title – The purpose of the title section is to get the attention of your reader. The title will be the deciding factor whether the searcher wants to read your article or if they move on to the next article. This section is also used by the search engines to index their search results that include articles. It is important to include the keyword phrase you are targeting in the title and if you can, place the keyword phrase in the front. Ensure that your title is related to your article content and that it gets the attention of the searcher. I would recommend studying some copy writing and help you create influential and persuasive articles.

Article Summary – The purpose of the article summary section is to consolidate the article into a few sentences and summarize what the entire aritcle is about. You will need to include the most relevant parts of the article. Essentially, you are feeding off the title and giving the searcher the information they need to either want to read the article or to move on to the next.

Body – The purpose of the article body section is to provide your reader with valuable information. Your reader will read the article indending to get a question answered or finding a solution to a problem. You must give them this answer or solution. Include your keyword phrase 3-5 times in the article body. Make your word count a minimum of 500 words. Most article directories will not accept articles below 500 words, plus anything below 500 words will not allow you to include all of the required information. Your article should be set up in this order: introduction, 3-5 content paragraphs, conclusion, call-to-action.

Keywords – This is where you will list the keyword phrase you are targeting, as well as other related keywords and phrases. Be mindful of the keyword limit the article directory enforces. This limit will vary from directory to directory.

Resource/Signature Box – This is the part of your article where you can get your reader to take action and click a link. This is the section where you will be able to list your website. Make sure that your resource/signature box naturally picks up where the article left off. Do not try and sound like some cheezy infomercial. For example a resource box could look something like this:

“Joey Fratantoni is a professional article marketer. For more great information on article marketing go to xyz.com”

This example is totally generic, but you get the idea.

Not Sure What To Write About?

Article marketing is so powerful because you are not limited to what you can write about. Plus, you can brand yourself based upon your own established credibility and own unique writing style. Some different types of articles you can write include:

-how-to articles
-articles that provide solutions to problems
-articles that provide answers to questions
-a debate
-a public issue
-anything you want

What Article Directories Should You Submit To?

There are hundreds of article diretories online, but they do not all get ranked the same throughout the search engines. Below is a list of article directories that get thousands of visitors on a daily basis from the search engines:

-EzineArticles.com
-GoArticles.com
-ArticlesBase.com
-ArticleDashboard.com
-FirstClassArticles.com

Well, there you have it my friend. In order for article marketing to be the most effective you absolutely must follow the guidelines and be very consistent. Do not stray from your target market and always give the people what they want. The better you are at doing this the more credibility and authority you will establish in your own respective field.

4 Things ALL Articles Must Have

Posted on | March 18, 2010 | No Comments

The relevance of articles in today’s blogs and internet based companies are immeasurable. They mandate a lot in the success and the drive of traffic into one’s site. It has become critical in making a site work and showing a profit. A webmaster and owner must have the good sense to include articles in his or her site that will work for them and earn them the many benefits articles can give to their site. Articles have been known to be the driving force in driving traffic to a website.

Articles are a factor in giving site high rankings in all the search engines. The higher a site ranks the bigger slice of the traffic flow pie he gets. With a huge number in traffic flow, there are more profits and more potential for other income generating schemes as well. But, it is not just about stuffing your site with articles; they have certain requirements as well. These requirements must be met to obtain the maximum benefits an article will provide for your site.

A well written article will catch the eyes and interest of your customers and keep them coming back for more. They would also be able to recommend your site to others. Here are some tips to help you and assist you in making your articles. Below you will read about four things all articles must have to make it successful and helpful in making your site a profit earning and traffic overflowing site.

Keywords and Keyword Phrases.

An article must always be centered on the keywords and keyword phrases. As each website visitor goes to a site, there are those who are just merely browsing but actually looking for a specific something. When this happens, a searcher usually goes to a search engine and types in the keywords they are looking for (e.g. Toyota Camry, Meningitis, Tax Lawyer and Etcetera). It could be anything they want. The Important thing is that you have an article that has the keywords that are related to your site.

For example, if you maintain an auto parts site, you must be able t have articles about cars and their parts. There are many tools in the internet that provides service in helping a webmaster out in determining what keywords and keyword phrases are mostly sought out. You can use this tool to determine what keywords to use and write about.

Keyword Density

Know that you have your keywords and keyword phrases, you must use them fully. An article must have good keyword density for a search engine to “feel” its presence. Articles should at least have ten to fifteen percent of keyword density in their content for search engines to rank a site high in their search results. Getting a high rank is what articles do best for a site. Keyword density is the number of times a keyword or keyword phrase is used on an article. The number varies depending on the number of words used in an article. An effective article must have a keyword density that is not too high or too low. With a very high density, the essence of the article is lost and may turn off a reader as well as the search engines. It comes off as overeager. A low number may be ignored by the search engines.

Good Article Content

Like what is stated above, you cannot just riddle an article with keywords. They must also be regarded as good reading materials. Articles must be able to entertain people as well as provide good information and help for their needs. Articles should be written well with correct spelling and good grammar. If you want people to trust you, make your work good and well thought out. People respond well to figures, facts and statistics. Try to get great information and as many facts as you can. A good and well written article will boost your reputation as an expert in your chosen field or topic. As more people believe in you. They will be able to trust you and your products.

Linking Articles

If you are going to submit articles to ezines and/or contribute your articles to newsletters and other sites, DON’T ever forget to include a link to your site. A little resource box with a brief description of your site and you should always be placed right after your articles that you have submitted. If people like your articles, they will most likely click on the link directing them to your site.

Very Useful Article Marketing Tips

Posted on | March 14, 2010 | No Comments

Out of complete sincerity, I believe article marketing is one of the best ways to drive traffic to your website. Article marketing is one of the main internet marketing skills that I have mastered and use to amass huge amounts of traffic to my websites on a consistent basis. The most appealing aspect about this form of marketing is that it doesn’t cost you a dime. This comes with a price though. The price you must pay is time. You will be required to invest your time creating original content, peforming diligent keyword research and being consistent. If you do this right, you can have guaranteed traffic coming to your websites every single day on complete autopilot.

So now you are probably wondering how in the world can you use articles to get traffic to your website. It’s pretty simple when you break it down. You see, major search engines such as Google rank websites according to how relevant they are to what the searcher typed in. If you type in “meat loaf recipe” you are expecting to see search results pertaining to meat loaf recipes. Google makes relevancy it’s number one concern and this is why Google is the nubmer one search engine as well as the most visited website in the United States. If you can target the right keywords for your articles you will be able to be found by search engines. A valuable tip that will save you a lot of frustration is to target a specific niche market and stick to it. I promote information for network marketers so that is who I target. If you are selling weight loss products then focus on the health and wellness industry and people who want to lose weight.

One of the best aspects of article marketing is that you can write about anything you want and it also enhances your credibility amongst your readers. As long as provide valuable and useful content your readers can use, you will be considered an authority figure on your chosen subject and this will increase the responsive of your readers to take action.

So how do you get started? Below you will see a series of steps you can begin to take and start using article marketing to drive traffic to your website.

1. Do You Have A Website? For most you probably do. It’s perfectly fine if you don’t though. I want to mention this because the whole objective of using article marketing is to direct your readers and viewers back to your website. It’s totally up to you what you do with them once they visit your website.

2. Content – Begin to think about content you cant write about. Your articles will deal with subjects relevant to your niche market. You could write a how-to article. You could write about your personal view on someone or something. You could write a review on anything. Your potential article topics are unlimited.

3. Recommended Websites To Use:
www.ezinearticles.com
www.goarticles.com
www.articlesbase.com
articledashboard.com
www.articlealley.com

These are article submission websites that get noticed and ranked high by Google. You can use these website when you first start out.

4. Word Count – A good recommendation is 500-700 words. This article you are reading right now will surpass that, but that is because I want to give you as much information as possible. Keep your article lengths in the above range so you give your audience enough information, but don’t actually put them to sleep. Minimum word counts for some websites is 250 and the maximum is all the way up to 5,000.

5. Grammar & Spelling – This is important, but it’s not going to kill you if you somehow mispell “their” for “there.” Just make sure your article is readable and you do a thorough spell check yourself before submitting. You can’t always rely on the automated spell checker. This tool is good for misspelling, but not grammatical errors. It looks totally unproffesional if your article has all kinds of grammatical and spelling errors in it, so just be aware of this.

6. Publishing – A popular question is “where do I post my article content?” There are thousands of different places you can do this. The first place you want to post your article content is your own website, especially your blog. Other places are article directories and article submission websites. The websites listed above are very popular. You can also use the content in your article and make it into a Squidoo lens. Go to Squidoo.com and learn more about lenses.

7. Signature Box/ Resource Box – This is one of the most crucial components of your articles. Your signature box is the small area at the bottom of your article where you give your readers more information. This is the area where you give your website links to your readers so they can go visit them. Chances are if you provided your readers with real value and content they will be interested to learn more and visit your website.

8. Automated Article Submission Software – Article submission software allows you to create one piece of content and have it distrubtored to hundreds of article directories with the push of a button. These tools are extremely powerful because the more places your content can be found, the more traffic and visitors you’ll have to your website. Check the link at the bottom of this article for the article software I personally use.

9. Alternative Content – In order to increase traffic to your website and exposure of your content, consider using some other marketing resources. For every article you write you can create a video, turn it into a press release, post it in a forum and post it on your blog. This allows you to take the content and make it available in more places, for more people to see.

10. Performing Your Keyword Research – It is important to know what keywords your niche marketing is searching for. You can use free keyword research tools to accomplish this. Two great free tools are Google’s keyword tool and Word Tracker’s keyword tool. Just go to Google and type in “free keyword tool” and you will see each option in the search results. Look for keywords that are popular, but not oversaturated by advertiser competiton.

The final tip I can recommend is to be super consistent. This form of marketing is very effective in driving targeted and qualified traffic to your website, but it takes time and effort on your part initially.. Follow the above tips and you will be sure to attract boatloads of traffic to your website and increase your credibility in your niche. Till next time my friends.

How To Use Social Media For Marketing The Right Way

Posted on | March 10, 2010 | No Comments

Social media has probably been the hottest trend online. All you ever hear about is how you should be implementing social media into your own marketing strategy to take full advantage of the millions of users on all the social media websites. Here is the problem, though. People usually never tell you how to use social media the right way. I see people doing all the wrong things and then they wonder why they are not capitalizing on this new trend.

First and foremost, what is social media? Social media includes all the websites that allow connectivity between others users via video, text, instant messages, email, status updates and bookmarking. With social media you can connect with anyone in the world, at any time. Here is a list you can use to see the categories of social media and some of the more popular websites.

Video Sharing Websites – These connect users with videos.

YouTube, Metacafe, Viddler, MegaVideo, Vimeo, Revver, HowCast

Social Networking Websites – These connect users via mediums such as media sharing, profiles, instant messaging and email

MySpace, Facebook, FriendFeed

Social Bookmarking Websites – Designed to search, organize, share and manage resources on the web.

Delicious, StumbleUpon, Bebo, Mixx, Reddit, Digg

Status Websites – Connects users with real-time updates.

Twitter, Jaiku, SoKule

Blogging Websites – Multi-functional websites that publish content of a user’s choice.

TypePad, Wordpress.com/ org, LiveJournal, Blog.com, Blogger

Podcasting Websites – Distributing and sharing of recorded audio (i.e. mp3’s)

PodcastAlley, Odeo, Podcast.com, Plazoo

So how do you use all of these websites to sell more product and services, get more customers and just grow your business? The answer is not complicated and it is not very scientific. In order to take advantage of social media you must use this medium as a means to build and sustain a relationship with your customers. People only buy from people they know, like and trust. Social media can help you accomplish this.

But whatever you do, just don’t SPAM!

Most of the newbie marketers think that just because there are so many people using social media that they can just SPAM people with offers and ads. It does not work like that! You don’t use your Facebook page to sell your product and service. You are supposed to use it to build your brand’s crediblity and cultivate trust amongst your potential customers.

Ways To Build Trust

1. Provide useful content.
2. Participate in forums and groups.
3. Be personable.
4. Help to answer questions.
5. Provide solutions to your customer’s problems.
6. Share.
7. Maintain constant communication.

Where Marketing Comes In

Because you are provide valuable and useful information for your potential customers they will gradually begin to wonder what you do. They will be curious as to what you offer. In the future when they need or know someone who needs your product or service they will think of you. All the relationship and trust building comes in very handy when you do it on a consistent basis.

Marketing is easy as an established brand. However, if you are just starting out, you will have to follow the instructions listed here in this article to build trust. Coca-Cola or Pepsi, for example, could just advertise using social media because they are already established. You, the small guy, will have to work harder, but the end result will be well worth it. Don’t forget that social media is just a tool. You still have to connect with people and build relationships.

It is commendable that you are looking at social media as part of your marketing strategy. Remember what you read here and always think of your potential customers first, before the money. These social media websites and communities can only benefit you when you help others. Till next time my friend.

An Article Marketing Strategy Guaranteed To Bring You Massive Traffic

Posted on | March 5, 2010 | No Comments

You are probably wondering how content and article marketing can get more traffic to your website. Article marketing allows you to write about anything you like and is also considered very relevant according to search engines like Google. The more content you have out there, the more that can be ranked higher in the search engine listings. The more relevant you are the more search engines will display your content. But it is important that you follow the strategy I’m about to show you for this work properly.

Before I uncover my secret marketing strategy you have to understand how search results are displayed. We will stick with Google. Google looks at your website and all web pages based on importance and ‘authority’. This importance and ‘authority’ is determined by all the other websites you have linking to your content. The more back links you have linking to your relevant content, the more ‘authority’ your website will have. You could have the best website in the world, but Google will not rank it high unless there are other websites linking to it. There is more to search engine optimization than this, but it is all you need to know for now. This powerful article marketing strategy will allow you to build more back links to your main content source and in effect, rank you higher on Google’s search engines for free.

The four steps below are what you need to do to rank high on the first page of Google for your targeted keywords. This is not theory or hypothesis. This is a real article marketing strategy that I personally use and consider to be the best and the easiest article marketing strategy available.

1. Produce an original piece of content. I would recommend putting this on a Word Press hosted blog. If you don’t have a Word Press blog, make sure get one ASAP. Most web hosting companies have a 1-click Word Press install feature.

2. Book mark your content using an automatic book-marking tool. This tool is OnlyWire.com Use this tool to book mark your content to 27 social book-marking websites. There are new social book-marking websites created every single day, but this tool allows you to submit your content to 27 all at once, and not do it individually, which can take for hours. OnlyWire is a paid tool, but is free on your Word Press blog. Just go into your Word Press dashboard and search for the OnlyWire plug-in. Click the install button and you are done.

3. Produce a short video about your content and share it through video submission websites. There are two options you can use to speed up this process. If you want a free option use TubeMogul.com. A paid option is TrafficGeyser.com Both of these allow you to upload a video and submit it to multiple video sharing websites automatically. TubeMogul sends out your video to 26 video sharing websites. Trafffic Geyser is well worth the price and submits your video to 11 social networking websites, 5 book-marking websites, 41 article submission websites, 2 blog websites and 25 video sharing websites for a total of 87 websites all at once.

4. Write an article and then submit it to over 300 article directories stating your content is now available. This can be accomplished using article submission software. This tool costs money, but the small investment is worth the gigantic return. There are a variety of article submission software programs, but just one that I found that get’s the job done right over and over again. This is the Automatic Article Submitter and is far superior compared to the rest of the competition, who comes up short with their software.

The four step process is simple and here’s what it does. It directs all of the backlinks to your original content that will more than likely be at your blog. You can also use this process to rank your videos high in Google or any content including press releases, articles and even Squidoo lenses. Once this easy four step process is completed you can have a total of up to 414 backlinks that point directly back to your content and gives your website ‘authority,’ increasing the relevance of your website based on the keywords and keyword phrases you want to target. This process saves you countless hours of time and gets your content ranked on the top page of Google almost every time.

You will get access to a very rare training on the four step process by following the

Be visible, make sure you are available everyday. Try to stay connected with people and answer all their messages. This proves that you are helpful and are ready to help at all times.
